Answer - B and C.

The AWS documentation mentions the following.

AWS Direct Connect has two separate charges: port-hours and Data Transfer.

Pricing is per port-hour consumed for each port type.

Partial port-hours consumed are billed as full hours.

The two separate charges for AWS Direct Connect are:

  1. Port-hours: AWS Direct Connect uses a dedicated network connection between your on-premises data center and your VPCs (Virtual Private Clouds) in the AWS cloud. You are charged based on the time that the port is actively connected. This charge is referred to as port-hours and is calculated by multiplying the number of hours that the port is connected by the hourly rate for the port.

  2. Data transfer: You are also charged for the amount of data transferred over the AWS Direct Connect connection. The charge is based on the amount of data transferred out of your VPCs to your on-premises data center. Data transferred between AWS services and your VPCs over AWS Direct Connect is not charged for data transfer.

To summarize, AWS Direct Connect charges for the time your connection is actively connected (port-hours) and for the amount of data transferred between your VPCs and your on-premises data center. There are no charges for creating or deleting subnets or VPCs, nor are there charges for the use of VPCs in the region.
