Azure Information Protection can encrypt documents and emails.
Azure Information Protection is a cloud-based solution that helps an organization to classify and optionally, protect its documents and emails by applying labels.
Labels can be applied automatically by administrators who define rules and conditions, manually by users, or a combination where users are given recommendations.
The protection technology uses Azure Rights Management (often abbreviated to Azure RMS). This technology is integrated with other Microsoft cloud services and applications, such as Office 365 and Azure Active Directory.
This protection technology uses encryption, identity, and authorization policies. Similarly to the labels that are applied, protection that is applied by using Rights
Management stays with the documents and emails, independently of the location " inside or outside your organization, networks, file servers, and applications.

It provides encryption capabilities to protect sensitive data from unauthorized access, both within the organization and outside of it.
Of the options provided, AIP can encrypt documents and email messages (Option B). This encryption can help to protect the data from unauthorized access, both at rest and in transit. By encrypting the data, only authorized users with the appropriate permissions can access the data.
AIP can also help to label and classify data based on its sensitivity, which allows administrators to control access to the data. This can help organizations to comply with regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, and others.
Option A, network traffic, can be encrypted using Azure Virtual Network ( VPN) or Azure ExpressRoute. These services provide secure and encrypted connections between on-premises networks and Azure services.
Option C, an Azure Storage account, can also be encrypted using Azure Storage Service Encryption (SSE) or Azure Disk Encryption (ADE). These services help to protect data at rest by encrypting the data and the associated storage accounts.
Option D, an Azure SQL database, can also be encrypted using Transparent Data Encryption (TDE). This service helps to protect data at rest by encrypting the data and the associated storage accounts.
In summary, while Azure Information Protection provides encryption capabilities for various data types, the option provided that it can encrypt is documents and email messages (Option B).
