In Oracle Account Reconciliation Cloud, Holiday Rules are assigned to Calendars.

A calendar is a set of dates that represent a schedule of events, such as workdays and non-workdays. Holiday Rules are used to define the non-working days, such as national or religious holidays, for a calendar.

Assigning Holiday Rules to a calendar allows you to exclude those days from any reconciliation tasks or processes that are scheduled on those days. For example, if a reconciliation process is scheduled to run every weekday, but a national holiday falls on a Monday, the process would be skipped on that day if the holiday is defined in the calendar for that period.

Profiles and Organizational Units are used for managing access and security in Oracle Account Reconciliation Cloud.

Periods are used to define the time frame for a reconciliation, such as monthly or quarterly. They do not have any direct relationship to holiday rules.
