To view how an entity is mapped, locate the tile for the entity in the project, and then click
View map.

We provide mapping visualization view (default) and mapping details view. A red asterisk (*)
identifies any required fields in an entity. These fields must be mapped in order to work with
the entity. Other fields can be unmapped as required when working with the entity.

‘* To unmap a field, highlight the field in either column (Entity or Source), click Delete
selection, and then click Save. After saving, close the form to return to the project.

The field mapping from source to staging can also be edited after import using the same
process.

The Mapping visualization tool in Dynamics 365 Finance is used to map data fields from a source system to the corresponding fields in Dynamics 365 Finance. When migrating data from a personalized version of a legacy application, the Mapping visualization tool can be used to map fields that have identical names in both systems.

However, if there are fields that vary between the two systems, the Mapping visualization tool may not be able to automatically map those fields. In such cases, manual intervention may be required to map those fields. Additionally, the Mapping visualization tool may not be able to map all fields, especially if they are complex or require additional processing.

Therefore, the answer to the question depends on the specifics of the data migration process. If all the fields in the entity have identical names in both systems, and are straightforward data types, then the Mapping visualization tool may be able to automatically map all the fields. However, if there are fields that vary or are complex, or require additional processing, then manual intervention may be required, and the Mapping visualization tool may not be sufficient to map all the fields.

In summary, the correct answer is B. No, it does not (automatically map all the fields in Dynamics 365 Finance).
