When configuring a Resource Pool in VMware vSphere 6, you can assign a share value to the pool to determine how much of the underlying resources it should receive. There are three share levels available:

  1. Low: The resource pool with low shares gets the least amount of resources and is given a low priority relative to other resource pools.
  2. Normal: The resource pool with normal shares gets a moderate amount of resources and is given a medium priority relative to other resource pools. This is the default share value for resource pools.
  3. High: The resource pool with high shares gets the most resources and is given a high priority relative to other resource pools.

In addition to these three standard share levels, there is also the option to select Custom shares. With Custom shares, you can assign a specific number of shares to the resource pool, giving you greater control over the allocation of resources.

Finally, there is no share level called "Average" or "Maximum" in VMware vSphere 6 when configuring a Resource Pool. Therefore, options A and E are not correct answers.
