Resolving the Blank Dashboards in vRealize Operations Manager for VMware Horizon

The vRealize Operations Manager for VMware Horizon is a tool that provides performance monitoring, capacity planning, and analytics for virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) environments. It collects data from various sources, such as vCenter, Horizon View Connection Server, and VMware Tools, and provides dashboards to visualize and analyze the data.

If the vRealize Operations Manager for VMware Horizon dashboards are all blank except for the Horizon Adapter Self Health dashboard, there may be an issue with the configuration of the vRealize Operations Manager or the Horizon environment. The following two actions can resolve the issue:

1. Add a vRealize Operations for Horizon License Key To use the vRealize Operations Manager for VMware Horizon, you need to have a license key that is specifically for Horizon. If you have not already added the license key, you can do so by following these steps:

• Log in to the vRealize Operations Manager for Horizon console.
• Go to Administration > Licensing.
• Click Add License Key.
• Enter the license key and click Add.

After adding the license key, you should be able to see the Horizon objects in the vRealize Operations Manager.

2. Associate Horizon objects with the vRealize Operations for Horizon License Key Even if you have added the license key, the Horizon objects may not appear in the vRealize Operations Manager if they are not associated with the license key. To associate the Horizon objects with the license key, follow these steps:

• Log in to the vRealize Operations Manager for Horizon console.
• Go to Administration > Solutions.
• Click the gear icon next to the VMware Horizon solution.
• Click Edit Settings.
• Under the Licensing section, select the license key that you added in the previous step.
• Click Save.

After associating the Horizon objects with the license key, you should be able to see the Horizon objects in the vRealize Operations Manager.

Note that options C and D are not directly related to resolving the issue of blank dashboards in vRealize Operations Manager for VMware Horizon. Creating an instance of the Horizon Adapter is required for integrating Horizon with vRealize Operations Manager, and configuring the vRealize Operations for Horizon Broker Agent is required for collecting data from the Horizon environment. However, these actions do not directly address the issue of blank dashboards in vRealize Operations Manager for VMware Horizon.
