The student has taken 17 credit hours. The weighted grades for each are: History:5*3 = 15. English: 5*2 = 10. Statistics: 4*4 = 16. Spanish: 3*2 = 6. Adding we have 15 + 10 + 16 + 6 = 47. Mean = 47/17 = 2.76
