Yes, it is possible to have Sidebar search enabled with Global Search in Salesforce Lightning Experience.
Sidebar search allows you to quickly search for records and objects from the sidebar on the Home, App, and Record pages. Global search allows you to search across multiple objects and records in Salesforce. By default, both Sidebar search and Global search are enabled in Lightning Experience.
To use Sidebar search, you can simply click on the search bar located on the left-hand sidebar and type in your search query. The Sidebar search will show you the relevant records and objects based on your search criteria.
If you also want to use Global search, you can type in your search query in the Global search bar located at the top of the page. The Global search will show you all the records and objects that match your search criteria across multiple objects.
